Lost 1996 Round Nose Fish?

I'm 6-0, 190, nursing a bad back and shoulder. I went big on mine, 6-0 through XTR. I felt the RNF96 up in the shops in every constructions offered by lost. The XTR came in with noticably thinner rails, not by request. Finally got it out last week, and I couldnt be happier with it. Didnt feel like a boat at all, but again, those rails...
just picked up my custom rnf96 from catalyst. took it out for a spin and WOW. so fun. amazing what happens when you dial in your dims and find the right fins

I have only tried MR and the reactor thruster, which went very well too.
I’d love to try this board as a quad, the rnf redux with stretch quads was one of the best combo ever for me.

I’ve tried the futures t1 alphas but I think the power twins are my favorite template for this board. The guys at catalyst also recommended the mick fanning twins
Pulled the trigger today on a second hand RNF 96 in light speed. 5’10 stock dims. Looking forward to getting it in the water tomorrow.
Copying racer and surfed the RNF96 for my first time in Waco. It’s so much fun and definitely warrants a trip back. I have a 5’6 PU and rented a 5’7 black sheep. Felt really good in the pool. Didn’t mind the extra volume for my first go at it. I think a 5’5 would be a better fit for me next time here. So Someone please donate a 5’5 RNF96 to Waco

What fins are you guys running in your RNF 96s? I just had my third session on mine and I have a set of MR twins plus stabilizer in it, they seem to work OK but I’ve got nothing to compare them too. I’m gonna take out the stabilizer next time I surf it to see how that goes. I was considering grabbing a pair of MR free rides for it to surf it as a true twin fin.
I’m really looking forward to getting this board out in some good waves. Not the mixed up evening wind swell we have had. Although the RNF 96 has been super fun in these conditions.

BMTs for a drivey twin, TC twin w/o trailer for a skatey twin. MR 2+1 always works, MF 2+1 for a more thrustery feel.
