If that doesn't pan out, get a hold of Dave Parkes at Friar Tuck or maybe Neil Luke on Philip Island. They may be able to set you up. They're cripple legends down there and great shapers that span the eras that includes the board in your picture.Need to get a bloody rusted screw out... once I've done that - I will talk to Greg T.
SFKneelo who posts here randomly and Don Harris (RIP) are/were OB chargers. Like most good beach breaks, OB will attract the odd halfman looking to get their's.I've seen a handful in SF.
I talked to one older guy riding a concave deck kneeboard. He said he didn't need the extra foam and the thick pad he used filled the void.
I use a whip fin in my 5'6 slab. I started with a 9 inch liddle flex and then an 8 Greenough like yours - the whip fin is sooooo much better than the other two.Resurfacing this...new kneelo came with a 8" 4A but it felt kinda boggy - not a great fin imho, haven't really enjoyed a 4A in any of my boards, but a good starter template to feel out a board.
Any single fin recs for a 5'6" kneelo? Flex fin? It's a boat - 5'6 and 22.75 wide. I have a set of Hanalei quads im gonna try in it as well!
In Santa Cruz at the moment for vacay but will mostly be using it at Ocean Beach
Hell yeah thanks manI use a whip fin in my 5'6 slab. I started with a 9 inch liddle flex and then an 8 Greenough like yours - the whip fin is sooooo much better than the other two.
