btw i changed my fin box placement, knowing i would improve it
had this 1698777012476.png

moved rear boxes an inch towards the rails. works much better, faster, looser.

also, ive tried using the fronts for rears, while using rears for fronts, in the 90s. stiffened it up. i used to tell people if they got a quad and it felt too loose, to switch fronts with rears

Plus Murray Bourton has what he calls a twinzer which I closer to a backwards quad

So move them closer together, say 1-1/2" or 1-1/8".....and you get...the twinzer.
I think the erBB twinzer afficionados would move the front fins back to reduce the "void" rahter than move the back fin forward.

a erbb'er sold me his board a few years ago, unknowingly, with quad rears in front boxes. it didn't work for him i guess:shrug:
