If you are an adult and you dress up for halloween, I'm guess you were a victim of an inconsistent caregiver as a child.

Halloween is for kids.

I was making fun of an adult friend who dressed up and she said, well, you used to dress up.

I don’t know if a lot of people really are aware of the historical cultural significance of black face. Without that context, it doesn’t seem like a racist issue. And I honestly don’t know who understands that context and who doesn’t. If I was going as someone who was a different shade of color than me for Halloween, I’d use face makeup. They are in poor taste and they are pretty damn funny.

Last year my son (he was 12) cross dressed, pink hair in pig tails, etc. I dressed like Max Hardcore and went TorTing with him.

I made a mental note of the neighbors who got it. Keep clear of them....
