On the whole Pete has not shone brightly in the relatively easy job of Transpo Secretary. Does not make any aspirations he might still have for higher office look especially good.Trains derailing, airplanes falling apart mid flight and a fairly notable cargo ship destroying bridge incident.
But on the other hand we now get airline ticket refunds?!
Yeah, give this guy a freaking medal.
Yeah but I bet his prospects in the private sector will be bright after however many years of treating these big corporations with kid gloves. On the whole Pete has not shone brightly in the relatively easy job of Transpo Secretary. gather around, kids, it's Duffman storytime!Btw, I’ve had two flights cancelled on me in my lifetime and both times I got a full cash refund.
Who isn’t getting refunds? Dummies, that’s who.

Who’s not getting refunds for cancelled flights? It’s not that hard.gather around, kids, it's Duffman storytime!
Why did you omit the part where you put them in a rear naked choke?Who’s not getting refunds for cancelled flights? It’s not that hard.
”Sorry, your flight has been canceled.”
”That sucks, please refund my credit card charge.”
”Sure thing. Is there anything else we can do for you?”
This is how it goes. What am I missing?
I only do that to people who are trying to do it to me.Why did you omit the part where you put them in a rear naked choke?
If people were already getting refunds then what’s the problem? Not a “problem”. I’m just pointing out what the “solution” will be.
Just wait, you’ll see. Ticket prices will go up.
That’s how this works.
There was no problem before. Cancelled flight? Get a refund. That was already happening.
the problem is you have to call and ask for it. lots of people to lazy to do that - but also lack the patience to deal with phones (trying to get a human) these days, let alone if its a foreign airline. If people were already getting refunds then what’s the problem?
The problem is regulating a “solution” to a non-existent problem that will inevitably increase cost to consumers. If people were already getting refunds then what’s the problem?
Oh! My! Gawd!the problem is you have to call and ask for it. lots of people to lazy to do that - but also lack the patience to deal with phones (trying to get a human) these days, let alone if its a foreign airline.

This only seems to be a problem for you Duffy. The problem is regulating a “solution” to a non-existent problem that will inevitably increase cost to consumers.

I have to make a phone call!!!!!!!
