What are the odds that someone addicted to drugs and alcohol would lie about what they’re doing or who they’re with to get money?

But all of the controversy surrounding the orange one has proven time and again that attempted cover ups were usually worse than the original “crime”.
Why would The Big Guy thumb the scales on some dumb tax crime when:
1) He’s already in office
2) He has the power of pardon and could just use that.
3) The Overton Window for political scandals post Trump.
Any day now.
So the “crime” alleged here is that Joe knew Hunter was using his name and power as a former VP who hadn’t even announced intent to run in 2020, for influence.
