CRWD has been floating around $315 all day....don't know if tomorrow's ER is before or after hours, but let's see what happens. I'm looking at PANW, ZS, SNOW et al that followed this pattern recently of a deep dive after a decent ER....as if a decent ER is not quite good enough anymore. there is some chatter that CRWD is gonna get added to the S&P 500 at some point soon, which should be good for a pump regardless. but that's not today :shameonyou:
PANW, SNoW and ZS(recent addition to the list) are losers bro. Losers.

Bunch of reasons. Mainly performance, its 6mo chart was pretty lackluster when compared to the real winners. I also am convinced CRWd is where it’s at when it comes to cybersecurity and will be for a longgg time. End of story.

Sold it for some gains and rolled it back into the market with a position with MANH bc supply chain AI and bought me some more CRwd and NVDa bc I don’t see them getting any cheaper anytime soon. The real deal ”AI” tech companies are going to continue to see monstrous growth ahead imo.

Saylor has taken the investment world by storm.

He's currently up $7b on his BTC play.

And his stock just hit 1359.

gee, that's a pretty technical analysis - can you dumb that down for me, just a bit? :roflmao:

never mind, j/k. if CRWD turns in a good ER and then dumps, i'd pick up a few more shares on the dip. but some of these companies are scary with their astronomical P/E ratios and CRWD is one of them, imho. it's entirely possible that i'm not knowledgeable enough to know when that doesn't matter but at least NVDA is profitable and that still means something, imho.
let's see what tomorrow brings :waving:

Bro those numbers dont mean sh!t when you’re looking for long term growth imo. I ain’t scared bc ain’t nobody got making better chips than NVDA anytime soon and ain’t nobody got better software than PLTR and CRWD and both them companies are also really good at gouging the sh!t out of customers with subscriptions and modules. So I see CRWD meeting and exceeding expectations tm and things in general keep on rocking hard long term.

know 3 people laid off this week. telecom. education.construction.
Small world? Just got off the phone with the wife, two layoffs. One in k-12 education (not a teacher) and I'm pretty sure the other one is in IT.

Trades would make sense as real estate isn't moving.

Anyone who works in retail will tell you sales have been down for a long time (despite the gubmint numbers, which are likely propped up by inflation).

The surfboard business is slow as hell, and from what I hear and personal experience turnaround times are faster than ever.

I am told by a person in the know there is essentially a hiring freeze at my employer (healthcare), HR just isn't coming out and saying it.

In K-12 education the federal government pumped a bunch of Covid money into the system, so they hired all these aides and reading specialists and stuff. That money has now dried up so you will see a lot of layoffs in the next several months.

Jk, if it keeps diving Ima have to figure out a way to get more. I don’t believe in believing in hype and imo those days are over for CRWD anyway now that they’ve demonstrated they have the bomb tech

“We did a thorough product evaluation and decided that combining AI-based monitoring tools and human intelligence was the way to go. Choosing CrowdStrike OverWatch because it combines AI tools and apps with human intelligence proved invaluable.”
