Going in tomorrow for the weekly shop.

I'll check again on the availability of 'reliable news sources', but those keep being bought up and flaunted by the know-it-all, average college math having, think they are fortune-telling fooks, down-talking others, conspiracy nutjobs that inhabit this place. Oh, and maybe more beer.

Stoked up on TP and PT just now at costco. They seem to be restoking daily. Lots of pallets staged throughout the store at the perimeter end caps. Should be good for a while

Trader Joe’s Encinitas allows us seniors in between 8-9AM. The line is about 100 yarcs long but TJ staff put tape on the sidewalk every 6 feet for line distance. They spray disinfectant on the carts before rolling them to you at the entrance. All staff and customer I saw wore masks. The interior of th store was modified for one-way traffic at each aisle and had staff to direct customers. They waived the Paper bag fee And asked customers trying to bring in their own bags to leave them at the door for pick-up when departing. Cashiers used sanitizer and offered to us after paying for goods.

Yesterday, went to Von’s. Out of hand wipes at the entrance. Place was a zoo. Plastic sneeze barriers set up at registers. Shelves not stocked as well as TJ (no paper good, flour, wipes, etc.).

my local TJ's yesterday fully stocked. except for TP and a few frozen veggie packs I like. key I've found is to go sometime Monday to Thursday before 3pm and can get in only waiting maybe 10 mins. TP at Target today but as they were putting it on the shelves people snatching it.

I went to Albertsons in Buellton this AM for groceries and while the dude wiped my cart handle a masked lady worker got on him about 6-7am being senior hours. The dude was hinting I had to leave and the lady said it's cool "you already let him in". Okidoki. There was only like 10 minutes left til 7 anyway and 10 shoppers in the store at best. Wasn't expecting to see any but got a 12pack of TP and 6 PTs. I don't think I've ever taken seen so many pics of toilet paper until this thing. Food porn is probably super butthurt on social media.

I think the TP issue is starting to taper off. Eventually the hoarders have too much and realize they have enough to last them for several months, while it takes up a whole closet and/or half the space in their garage.

Just scored PT mid day at Vons. Have plenty TP. No waiting in line like at Traders. Wife waited 90 mins last week. Fuck that I'll pay more. Found everything I wanted but more expensive products are mostly left. With a $500 a month gasoline bill between wife and I no longer needed, I guess food 20% more no biggie.
