Gas prices have dropped over $.50 in the past week here.

Oil pushing back down to $80 following OPEC cut news.
According to Biden, gas has ALWAYS been $7 in CA. :foreheadslap:

The good ole dayz, before Biden and his adminions screwed the USA all to hell and back.

Wonder why inflation took off, and stayed there? See this simple chart above as just ONE glaring reason.

Double the price of a commodity severely important to the USA economy and commerce, and 40 year high stubborn inflation is what you get. This is Carter 2.0 more than Obama could even achieve.

And talk about trying to manipulate oil markets for purely political reasons prior to an election.....

And, wasn't someone impeached for trying to get another foreign country to affect global markets until an election was past? I'm sure you've all heard by now how Biden was trying to get the Saudi's/OPEC to hold off their 2 million barrel a day oil production cut until AFTER the November elections in the USA. Sure you have.

Shameless and corrupt as all fook. But what's new with this most corrupt admin in recent history.

These guys in Sacramento will do everything they can to get us out of gas cars, and they know that batteries are bad and toxic and blah blah blah. So I'm sure they have step 2 of the master plan already in place....the wheels are set in motion and it's only a matter of time

Which is worse for US oil, $85 or $0? How many producers have gone bankrupt under Biden? Under Trump? We pumped more oil in 2019 than the market needed and nearly killed the industry. Which is why Trump threatened the Saudis to cut production until April 2022. That couldn't have impacted the world's ability to catch back up when demand spiked in 2021, could it?

And yes, inflation took off across the world immediately upon Biden taking office because he said "oil is bad."

How much additional oil would the US need to produce to get world market prices down to $70?

Why are we begging Venezuela for oil, after being shut down by the Saudis?

Don't we have more domestic oil than we can refine?

Nothing to do with future supplies, nah, that's never a problem. :foreheadslap:

Nice bit of reductive reasoning.

You people loved to use it with your COVID arguments but with EVs, you took it to another level.

Fascinating.

why do you care where the oil comes from in the immediate?

Has the oil industry solved its worker shortage?

If we can’t refine much more, and we don’t have workers to help drill for more, don’t you want someone else to help?

Why did Trump let oil get to $0, putting American shale producers into bankruptcy? Imagine if they were still here to help!

The world (including the USA) shutting down EVERYTHING, including air travel and most non-essential transportation will kind of do that to the oil markets.

As for the "worker shortage".

There's no shortage of able bodied workers. It's their dependence on not having to work that's the problem. Shutdowns sent many able bodied back to living with mom and dad, and they haven't left since. Much easier to be a gamer and mooch off mom and dad, until they kick the bucket.

oh, looky here, the world economy does have an influence on things....

that's funny given how you've blamed all this on Biden making a speech once.

you, sir, are an endless fountain of laughable bullshit

I wonder if you ever type something like this out and then stop for a minute to ponder how utterly ridiculous it is before you hit submit

Yep.

But who forced Opec to stop producing until 2022? Wouldn’t the world market have benefited from more production in 2021?

I love how you’re able to separate Trump from any negative results under his watch but pin everything, including increases in energy costs that occurred before he was sworn in, on Biden.

Oil gigs pay pretty well. Are you suggesting the people working the shale operations in 2019 are now all content to sit in their parents’ garages playing X box?

What government programs allow for this lifestyle?

Check out what big lefty is saying
Yes, please do check it out.

Why didn't you check it out?

Did somebody say that batteries are not toxic? No.

Is making EVs more toxic than making ICE cars? No.

Do EVs produce zero emissions during their lifespan? Yes.

Do they last longer and require way less maintenance than ICE cars? Yes.

Why do you omit facts? Yes.
