Might be one of the first times I can recall gas being cheaper in the islands than here on the mainland...A steady $3.65 at Costco Lihue for quite some time. Jumped to $3.80 recently. My local down the street is over $4.00 per gal.
I live in an expensive area of the Golden State and gas has jumped from $4.07 to $4.19 in the last couple of weeks. Bay area is $0.50+ a gallon more expensive across the board.Golden state taxes and special refinery requirements?
SLO County is about the same as Bay Area. There are a few stations that are around $4.35-4.40ish but most are pushing $4.75+I live in an expensive area of the Golden State and gas has jumped from $4.07 to $4.19 in the last couple of weeks. The end game is to collapse travel. Works well if you live at a good local. Screws up everything else in life. You may not have access to enough calories to justify surfing.Drove from SF to north over weekend to surf and cost so much to fill up again.
How high will they go? Need better vehicle for gas. Small car maybe.
