seriously? 4" for SF? damn. lived there 10 years and i don't think i ever saw but a dusting.Big storm coming. Local news said 4" for SF and 3' snow for Tahoe.

thought that sounded pretty wierd, especially for October.
Might be one of the first times I can recall gas being cheaper in the islands than here on the mainland...
I live in an expensive area of the Golden State and gas has jumped from $4.07 to $4.19 in the last couple of weeks. Bay area is $0.50+ a gallon more expensive across the board.
Still in the 330 range here, at the cheaper places. The lone little gas station in point lookout charges like a buck more than that, knowing full well the small affluent local populace won’t spend 15 minutes round trip to go a speedway in long beach to save that $20 on a fill up
SLO County is about the same as Bay Area. There are a few stations that are around $4.35-4.40ish but most are pushing $4.75+
The end game is to collapse travel. Works well if you live at a good local. Screws up everything else in life. You may not have access to enough calories to justify surfing.
