When FCS Fusion came out I bought the jig and a bunch of boxes. Did the same with FCS2. My personal preference is Fusion and that's what goes in all of my personal boards. Have enough boxes to last me another two years.

Fcs vs future 2021

I now know less than I knew when I started. This discussion is headed for detailed hydrodynamic physics, with math, isn't it? 
Whatever happened to those dudes who would argue the pros and cons of lockbox fins?

I've never had a problem with FCS since they came out and now most of my boards are FCSII.
Also, I'm pretty much married to them since I have a rubbermade tub full of them and at this point don't want to spend more money on two different systems. The grub screw thing isn't a problem for me since I use twin tabbed fins from True Ames and NVS along with the FCSII offerings.
I've saved a lot of YOLO money when certain shapers predominately use futures on their rack boards.
Another upside of FCS is that when I have hit the reef the fins ejected and spared the board major repairs- just two slits where the fins pivoted out.
