Funny you should say that, I'm tossing up between those boards at the moment.Convergent Evolution.

The board looked awful.I've always loved that Dane shows the warts and of a session(s), but that wasn't the best marketing vehicle for a new bort design. There were a few good turns and a toob or two at the end, but the hand-jive on a few waves made it seem like he wasn't having too much fun or sarfing to his potential, which I personally want to see in a small wave design.
I hate to say it - but what size board was Dane riding? That video was very underwhelming, but it didn’t strike me as an issue with the board designThe board looked awful.
It looked like it surfed really flat.I hate to say it - but what size board was Dane riding? That video was very underwhelming, but it didn’t strike me as an issue with the board design
I've tried most daily driver out there but always end up on the Flyer. My new GX is pretty epic though.Convergent Evolution.

I would expect a small wave board to have a flat rockerIt looked like it surfed really flat.
All the videos kinda look like the rocker is really flat.
They're advertising it as a small wave board but going off the videos it's certainly not looking like a groveler.I would expect a small wave board to have a flat rocker
I'll get some time over the next few days.has anyone got real world experience riding this model?
i am in the market for a performance groveller and one is available nearby in my size.
the flatness of the rocker appeals to me.
"Ride this board 1-2" below your height, bla bla bla" It's a race to the bottom to ride undersized shorties.
that’s like a flyer but outline pushed out.I've tried most daily driver out there but always end up on the Flyer. My new GX is pretty epic though.
Nat's on an OG Flyer.that’s like a flyer but outline pushed out.
That's a 5'10".5 x 19 1/8 x 2 3/8 OG Flyer x approx 28.7L
The sand goes down, and he’s not standing straight upLooking at that photo I find it very hard to reconcile Nat = 5'11 with board = 5'10.5.
well, he did say "listed" at 5'11. Presumably Nat made up that list. I'd guess 5'8 IRL, away from the ShireLooking at that photo I find it very hard to reconcile Nat = 5'11 with board = 5'10.5.
