lcu812 has the hot setup for California but few are willing/able to put in the time take care of an operation like he has. Too chilly for my blood but otherwise checks all the boxes.

Doubt if I'd find any other place in the 1st world with clean ocean water, clean air to breath, 4 world class right hand uncrowded (when i arrived over 16 years ago now) point breaks, access to them within a 15-20 minute drive with absolutely zero traffic, views that would make for a national geographic producers wet dreams, access to relatively good medical care and an international airport under 20 minutes away without ever seeing or hearing a plane fly over.
All that, and we were able to build our home for under €150k and it was cheap enough to live that working was nothing to worry about.
Too bad times change. Huh?
