No beer inside the old park. There is beer at California Adventure and downtown Disney.

If you can at least find a weekday outside of the holiday weeks, you could save yourself a marginal amount of headache.

If you're going now (christmas season), expect mucho crowds. Pretty sure it slows down after Christmas, so January could be a way to at least escape some of the crowd.

Yes and no. If you go midweek in December you can get Disneyland fairly empty. It's still fucking terrible, but not quite as bad.

wife wants to take the kids, luckily one is under 3 years old. Looking at about $500 for two adults one childs ticket peak season. Doesn't include parking. That is a lot to be stuck in a huge crowd all day. I guess what wife wants wife gets - I am learning. LOL

About a decade ago, went to Disneyland the day after Thanksgiving.

Not as terrible as I thought I would be.
