Dane’s newest, all around short board is coming soon. Slightly wider forward with just the right amount of flip in the tail. Makes for a fast and forgiving board that handles the biggest of airs to the hardest of carves. With a single concave and a full rail, Dane chooses to ride his his own height. 6’0″ x 19″ x 2 3/8″

There's a "new" Motorboat version "too"
The “Too” is an all-around performance minded surf craft, well-suited for both pocket surfing and at sections. Round is rad, and Rob super-charged the original Motorboat, added tail rocker, deck rocker, and foiled out the thickness. The bottom is single to double to vee out the back providing drive and forgiveness. The end result is an updated version that surprised Rob in its performance in all conditions, not a novelty but a user friendly board for all skill levels.

I've never had Pepper Pot before, seems interesting. But I can see that you are saying no matter what the label they all taste the same...

Whats the ride difference between a deep or even just a single concave all the way through the board compared to a single to double? Won a little raffle my local shaper was doing so I was thinking of getting a board with single concave to check out the difference. What type of tail goes good with that bottom contour? I'm thinking of trying a round.
speed and instant reaction , they like to be pushed .

s -d is a bit more forgiving and mellow , stable , and boring

seems hard to isolate all the variables. singles, and single to doubles are not all done the same way. Bonzer bottom for example.

Is DFR - Dane's Fred Rubble?

Danes Dims applied to a Fred Rubble?

Does that constitute a model?

prolly a deep single concave version of the rubble

single to double is for sissy's
Single all the way thru doesn't work backside.
thats an interesting thing to say, for me they work wonders
As long as you surf a wave w/ ballz it works fine but if your daily break is a mushburger longboard point then you might have problems

Yeah I like HP thrusters a lot, you should order one for your local shaper.

i would if i could surf the one he shaped for me 7 months ago first. just trying to pass the retardedly lengthy injury time i've been dealing with this year by looking at board porn and what not.

so yeah, if there's any ride reports out there for this model i'd be interested to hear em. thanks

had one, good board for good waves. the board goes ok in flat faced waves but im sure if the waves were hollowish and punchy this thing would go insane. i wouldnt pick this board up expecting it to be very versatile

Not sure if this got answered for you or not but here is my take. I have a 6'0" short board that has a pretty deep single concave all the way out the tail and the board is great for on rail hard carving turns. It has no tail release at all when going for a deep carving turn and even when going for a turn or bank off the close out the hold is just insane. I really like this board for any type of wave that has some push or power. The deep single is a bit tough to get up tp speed in junk surf. As for the difference between single all the way through and single to double. The single to double in my opinion is better for average waves and high performance surfing. The double concave in front of you center fin allows the water to break apart in front of the fin and helps the board loosen up allowing for an easier, springy feeling. Single concave can still be loose but will be better for more drawn out turns and hold through turns. Opposed to the double that will allow release and slide. Add some vee in the tail with either of these combos for increased turning ease. Overall I like singles with vee in the tail or single to double with vee in the tail. Straight singles are good but I think they kinda have their place in certain waves. To me they are not the best all around bottom contour. Deep singles are great for hold and speed and lighter singles with be easier to get going in smaller waves and will still allow for carving turns and hold.

Doesn't a moderate single with a good flip in the tail sort of make the best of both worlds? It's been a good combo for me on regular to good wave boards.
