Can you tell the story?I heard way too many stories of him starting sh!t at Hanalei and then getting Kala and Titus to bail him out. There’s one of him destroying some tourists car at the pier that’s really hard to stomach.

I don't think anyone claimed otherwise. Everyone who surfed during the Iron's brothers prime knows they were phenomenal once in a generation talents. But none of your friends, or local guys, or anyone else surfed anywhere near as well as Bruce and Andy at the time.
Seriously. So many heavy waves at the end of some cane road so far from help.Once you've surfed those spots on Kauai at a decent size, you realize why Kauai guys surf big waves around the World so effortlessly.
Seriously who wasn't like that in their 20's? Since when are are surfers soft and calculated nerds?Too Alpha for you?
Fair point. It's funny when you are in your 20s because a lot of us were somewhere on that spectrum, but by your late 30s/40s+ . . . . Not so much.
The clip of him connecting into the shorebreak backside at the Eddie is friggin all time.
That's a solid crew.My main surf partners during my senior year of high school were Tamayo Perry and Pancho Sullivan. It was humbling, every day.
