Back in the day (when dear old dad would get me to set up the VCR to record things for him because no matter how often he read the directions, couldn't get it to work for him), there was a funny cartoon I should have clipped and saved for use with posts like this
The cartoon was a single image of a smaller box on top of a TV, and the caption said (paraphrasing here), "If you don't know how to program the VCR, you don't belong in the 80s".
The idea behind this is bit of humor is eternal and shows up every now: how things were and how things have become.
