No foreigner has a right to come here

If they want to come, they’ll meet the requirements

Not true.

Our country was founded on the basis of the exact opposite of what you said.

That being said, requirements are fine. But there’s a point where government is too intrusive. This is it.

Well we are on a roll, aren't we?

Our country was founded on taking what you wanted, and running off everyone else. Just ask a Native, or a Quaker. The only ones actually "invited" here were black slaves.

Uh, no

The Supreme Court ruled on this with the travel ban

We have 100% ability to deny foreigners entry

This country was founded by immigrants and the whole idea of give me your tired, hungry, poor, freedom from tyranny, yadda, yadda, yadda.

The idea that no one has the right to come here goes against what our constitution and country stands for.

I hate this idea. I could see it being useful for people that have a sketchy background and get stuffed into the "investigate further" pile, but demanding it for all applicants seems like a huge overreach. Both in civil liberties and paperwork.

This is why I hated the ACLU getting all mouthy about Kavanaugh's Supreme court hearings. I'm assuming they will be opposing this if the Office of Management and Budget approves this bs. I could see a case like this ending up in the Supreme Court, at which point I wonder if he goes for payback.

The travel ban was upheld. SCOTUS said the president could have even gone further than he did

It’s like the TSA

They have to search everyone because they’re not allowed to single out the most likely suspects

That poem was written in 1903. Hardly our countries founding. In a couple of hundred years, do you want tRump to be called a founding father?

Founded by colonists and imported immigrants for cheap labor in a growing country

Think of all of the public servants this plan went through that think that that it can be implemented. Crazy. Now think about all the resources that will be spent as what you describe fumbles it’s way through the legal system.

they can already do this

your social accounts are tied to your phone/email which is tied to you

they can parse all that stuff....text, images, and video...programmatically
to flag content *of interest*

they are just asking you to help connect the dots on a form
