Our country was founded on the basis of the exact opposite of what you said.
That being said, requirements are fine. But there’s a point where government is too intrusive. This is it.

Our country was founded on taking what you wanted, and running off everyone else. Just ask a Native, or a Quaker. The only ones actually "invited" here were black slaves.
That failure is your example?BillyOcean said:Uh, nomanbearpig said:Not true.BillyOcean said:No foreigner has a right to come here

This is why I hated the ACLU getting all mouthy about Kavanaugh's Supreme court hearings. I'm assuming they will be opposing this if the Office of Management and Budget approves this bs. I could see a case like this ending up in the Supreme Court, at which point I wonder if he goes for payback.
That poem was written in 1903. Hardly our countries founding. In a couple of hundred years, do you want tRump to be called a founding father?manbearpig said:This country was founded by immigrants and the whole idea of give me your tired, hungry, poor, freedom from tyranny, yadda, yadda, yadda.everysurfr said:Well we are on a roll, aren't we?manbearpig said:Not true.BillyOcean said:No foreigner has a right to come here

The idea that no one has the right to come here goes against what our constitution and country stands for.
