On a planet that is 4 Billion plus tears old do you climate cultists think is there any possibility whatsoever that our limited climate data simply reflects natural variability driven by things that are beyond human control? Does that big yellow ball in the sky and the energy it radiates have anything to do with our climate? Is it all man's fault? Genuinely curious how your line of logic works.

Last year the largest snowfall in the Sierras in recorded history.

A huge start this year, then it tapered off.

Anybody can be a Climate Scientist today.

I am a Climate Scientist.

This is great.

It embodies all the stupidity and anti intellectualism that the right prides itself on.

The problem is people.

Sober scientists realize we're at the end of an Ice Age and that climate change is happening due to both natural and human causes. They also theorize that these changes can be dire, good, or somewhere in between for humanity

Less sober scientists and other people with a media mouthpiece take these predictions and bullhorn them to the public. Some are agenda driven, and some are just the same kind of people who have been screeching the END IS NIGH since prehistory.

The climate is changing, and always has been changing. There is surely some human component to it because there are too many of us and we are too dirty. Pollution can be focused in upon and fixed by focusing on small groups of people, unlike climate, which takes the whole world population to make changes.

I've spent enough time looking down from airplanes and far out at sea on boats to realize how insignificant we humans really are. Sure we can make a mess out of small localities but the whole planet, no fukking way. We barely have the capability to measure the current climate and are only observing normal variabilities that have gone on since the beginning of time. We are nowhere near the extremes that the climate on this planet has seen in the past during human history. Feel free to believe whatever kook religion you please but do not try to inflict your religion on me.

With thinking like this you should be working for Cal Tech, MIT or DARPA.
