I'm inclined to work on my switch stance at that price! The 6' used PU (red, goofy) one on Album's site is $1k!
That board was made for me and I sent it back.
If you like 8.4lb shortboards, go for it.
(but really, don't)
If someone's spot is super tide sensitive, paddling out on that thing may raise the water level enough to get the bar working.

Have had two sessions on my new Lightbender...confirmed works as advertised. Glides and skates like a fish, turns like a shortboard. Running the flasher pacy shapers 5.79's...super stoked on the thing.
Yep. I love mine for exactly what you describe. I dont live in socal but mine went great in baja pt waves this winter. Also goes well in punchy beachies.
You are going to have to do better than that if you want to survive here!
