What exactly did you shoot? The .223 AR15 type that everyone has their panties in a bunch over or something in .308? The .223 is a fairly light recoil gun. A .308 is a much different story. A few years ago I was at a shooting range and a guy took the station to my left and started shooting AR style rifle in .308. The noise and concussion that comes out the side action of one of those was so distracting that I had to move. I was flinching on him firing. I've only fired a .308 bolt action and it kicked like a mule and it would kick even worse in a light tactical gun. The .223 AR or Bushmaster would be nothing like that.understandable....but....have u ever fired a Bushmaster?
