But I get ya, CM, you're asking questions we all have (I hope) about the future and what it will bring.
Which is kinda like what people have been asking since the first mouse trap* was built: why is there a need to build a better one and what does it all mean or what will it bring if a new one is made?
And.......like with so many thinks things involving change, the limb (one of many limbs probably) I am going out on is that this is how the younger, less empowered find a way to gain some power of their own which is why all the people with money/power/influence are trying to get on top of the pile: must stay relevant/stay on top (or at least not completely fall off the turnip truck). All the money** moving around is reflective of the shifting dynamics.

The LLM's will only get worse as the large tech companies start to figure out how to monetize them.
Just like how google/facebook/insta/twitter/amazon/uber/etc. are all worse products than they were 5-10 years ago.
