would be rad for those waves and anything slopey.Gotcha.
I was riding a Joel Fitz Cosmic Twin - 6'10" and had an absolute ball in 2ft waves at the Pass and 2ft Waikiki style waves out in front of the Pub.
Cosmic Twin
The Cosmic Twin is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and every wave in between. A progressive mid-length twin fin surfboard designed by Joel Fitzgerald with a flat bottom into spiral vee through the keels for speed.joelfitzgeraldsurfboards.com
@urchined WOW!!! So I'm set on ordering a 6'4-6'6 long fish type board. Was going with a moonstone for versatility in beach break but that CC long phish II looks insane. Any more ride reports? Or feedback?View attachment 172549Here you go Maz. The bottom constantly transitions. Feels aggressive by hand. Tail is fairly flat transitioning to concave V in the middle to some v to flat in the nose. A lot of nose rocker for a fish dna board.
Real Nice. They don’t usually have channels like this one, right?A random clip I ran across yesterday of a guy on a 6'6" moonstone. Crappy rewind footage but shows how well it goes on rail and redirects for a longer straighter fish
Jeremy on Instagram: "All day offshores and a little combo swell. Riding a magic carpet that @albumatt shaped - 6'6 #albummoonstone twin fin with a channel bottom. This thing is sooo good for trimming but holds through big carves and steep barrels. Sorta a quiver killer- beware if you try you will probably buy. #uppertrestles #lowertrestles #surflinerewind #albumsurfboards #santanawinds #comboswell"

Yeh they usually don't. I've seen some one offs , but more rare. Out of the couple I've had, I've never thought...."i wish this board had channels". Works great as is.Real Nice. They don’t usually have channels like this one, right?
I dunno. I do love a slot channel twin…Yeh they usually don't. I've seen some one offs , but more rare. Out of the couple I've had, I've never thought...."i wish this board had channels". Works great as is.
sounds like you need to order a 6'4 x 20 x 2.56 Moonstone with a slot channel, and store it indefinitely at my house to hide it from Mrs. OesteI dunno. I do love a slot channel twin…
