I am having a hard time understanding why they are giving him a platform unless he's culpable as well and trying to save his own dumb ass
He knows that Trump will throw him under the bus in a millisecond (like he does with everybody) and he prob figures he'll take the fat orange man down.

I love how this guy went out and said patently INSANE sh!t and now they are going to give him immunity

he lied repeatedly about declassification

Thing is, declassification doesn’t matter. Still not Trump’s to keep.

"The cases the DOJ is now investigating are nothing like Russiagate. They can’t be dismissed as a hoax. Trump is not going to be helped politically by prosecutions that most people will see as meritorious, even if the prospect of a prosecution and the soapbox it will give the former president rub them the wrong way."

" Trump is toast after his unhinged tirades against DeSantis and Youngkin. Attacking such unpopular Republicans as Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger is one thing, and attacking Mitch McConnell (or was it “Coco Chow”?) is just par for the course. But going after DeSantis and Youngkin, accomplished rising stars who give the disheartened GOP hope that better times may be around the corner, is just flat-out nuts. And nobody who’s not flat-out nuts wants any part of flat-out nuts "

You know it's bad when the NR puts the boots to you.
i was thinking this....not that it should matter, but if there where any political roadblocks to this investigation, they should be gone now. the DOJ seems to have every reason to move on this less-than-ordinary citizen, as this point.

That will make it that much harder for candidate Trump to complain that the whole investigation is a political witch hunt.

Respectfully disagree. He characterizes everything like that and the people who'd vote for him almost all believe it.

IMHO this is about Garland passing the buck.

All these thinkpieces about DoJ indicting after the midterms or after the GA runoff are now, as predicted by me, complete toilet paper.

The House GOP is going to ruin whoever the Special Council's life is. There'll be Uranium One colonoscopies so far up this person's ass they'll be able to do dental work.

The special counsel is appointed to protect Trump, a guy running for president. The investigations were happening with or without him.

It’s the opposite of a political weapon.

Please elaborate. How is this not the DoJ handing off a dangerous sh!t shoveling mission? Was Ken Starr there to protect Clinton who was running for President?
