That quad placement is just how I prefer them (clustered out on the rail), and I would think they would work well with the "bronzer" lite channel.
That said, I don't think the swallow tail would be as good as the stock tail on the low end conditions. And I really don't want to paddle a 5'7 around in decent waves nowadays. If it was 5'9-5'10, I would've talked myself into it.
If that thing was 5-9 i would have swooped for sure. I think 5-8 is my lower limit now after my experience with my 5-7 Hydra. I liked that board a lot but the short length just had too much downside for my tall self.same.

I’ve seen a few megafish out recently it’s been so small. My neighbor has a 10’ Deepest Reaches and he surfs it smooth & stylish but said it’s a bear to turn.

The “heaviest” day ever at Leds makes Swamis look like 10-12f Sunset.
If the surf is so bad that I have to ride a whaleshart or a wavestorm, then I'd rather just do pushups and squats for half an hour and call it a day.
