Does insurance cover something like that, if your kid or friend is driving the boat?"sorry dad" is probably spot on
Bridges are no joke, was running a customers boat at night, the idiots dropped the bridge without the bell, had tide on my ass so could not back out , took off radar, riggers and a bunch of electronics
Always surprised with how quiet my local drawbridge is when open/closing. Could def see where that could be a danger if warning bells/alarms are not sounded. I bet that was a tough phone call to make to the owner.Bridges are no joke, was running a customers boat at night, the idiots dropped the bridge without the bell, had tide on my ass so could not back out , took off radar, riggers and a bunch of electronics
He was on board, so made it a little easier.Always surprised with how quiet my local drawbridge is when open/closing. Could def see where that could be a danger if warning bells/alarms are not sounded. I bet that was a tough phone call to make to the owner.
What was that guy doing, just parked on the bridge like that? Was there an unseen barrier in front of him or what, and if there was, could he not drive around it when his car started lifting? Something doesn't pass the smell test.
