Regarding fin size and weight. Power into turns plays a big role when choosing fin size no?I fully believe shaper can make custom board for height weight skill set, but then recommends the same exact fin to everybody? So somebody 120 pounds and somebody 220 pounds should both be on the Apex Upright 5.5 Album Twin set? For example, Josh Kerr and Asher Pacey both weigh 40-50 pounds less than me, but Matt recommended a smaller fin for me (NVS set is smaller than Ashers sig fin that both Kerr and him ride).
I had a Greg Griffin shaped board and the best fins for it, in my opinion, were a set of Timmy Patterson quads. I tried Gregs fins in it, along with Merricks and Simon Andersons.
Your fault. He should sue.Bottom line is
Racer has a Very nice new board and can't ride it cuz it has no fins - yet
@racer1 now has more time to obsess over things like fins & research his next 5 board orders than he does to surf! Welcome to the clubBottom line is

That's nice and all but very shortly it's going to be "fvck this kid, daddy needs to sarf!"Maybe cause I'm an old dad (40) but I don't feel like surfing. Just want to hang with my little dude.
It also hasn't been firing (just a couple days over the past 3 weeks).
Then before he knows it it'll be: "F^ck Dad, this kid needs to sarf!"That's nice and all but very shortly it's going to be "fvvk this kid, daddy needs to sarf!"
Then he'll be home schooling the kid and taking him to all the NSSA comps. Then before he knows it it'll be: "F^ck Dad, this kid needs to sarf!"
Never. I'll be taking him to Coding Camps. Then he'll be home schooling the kid and taking him to all the NSSA comps.
2 inches longer and I would do it. Love that deck color, too. YOLO!More importantly...
who's gonna do it?

5’6” x 20.5” x 2.5” 34.8 liters When we started working on prototypes for our soft tops, we wanted a sub 5’0 that could carry volume but still be a ripper. So we made a 4’10 chunky twin that was a little over 30 liters, with a fishy rocker and a wild double-barrel bonzer-style concave. When...albumsurf.com
