i figure a wider shape with a wide squarish tail would ride betetr than a slim little thing here in fla.

any of my fellow bber's own one of these?

Whew, I wish. Soon though, now I have an excuse to buy all of the wide tailed boards that I want. They worked pretty well 25 years ago, why not now? It's not always overhead and barreling.
Doesn't have to be a bonzer... twins, quads, tris and twinzers work as well.
