I thought it was college students that were doing the protesting. Now you tell us it’s Palestinians that are being killed by US backed Israel doing the protesting.
These days, not many.......especially in election years. Kids these days in this country have to invent their bullship grievances.

Wars are the easy one, what about spending money - and the legal ability for individual businesses and people to do so from the US (following that we have a political system that represents these people)?

The reason the youth are sent is because they are impressionable, idealistic, and dumb
The fact most wars consist of old rich people murdering a generation of youth over issues that usually don't affect the ones dying is one of the reasons why war and government are forces of evil in the world
Young people are more likely to protest because IMO they are more likely to see the world in stark black-and-white terms. Whereas older people have much more lived experiences and often have first hand knowledge of the world being not black and white but fifty shades of gray.
The protestors of the 60s and 70s had very real reasons to protest. There were very real racial issues and sexual discrimination issues. They were watching their peers being sent to lose their lives and limbs in stupid meaningless wars. They had legit grievances. These protestors on college campuses today in this country are a complete joke. Paid agitators and life losers.
