How did you get that? China probably has 100's of 1000's of cases, and MANY more deaths they're not telling the world.
No way in hell would I believe their "numbers".
Italy has over 10,000 deaths now. Running just over 10% mortality to "confirmed" cases. gnarly.
Spain is not far behind with 6000 deaths out of 75,000 "confirmed" cases.
We're no where near that point, yet at least.
(2200 deaths in all of USA tonight, with NYC metro and tri-state locale area making up almost half (40-45%) of that total and increasing fast, unfortunately)
Take NYC out of the equation, and of "confirmed" cases, running at or under 1% mortality.
Bad yes, but plague death sentence for most all that get positive cases? Hardly.
Dense cities better prepare to isolate to save the suburbs from their fate. Mentioned almost 2 weeks ago dense clusterfook cities were not going to deal with this well.
Remember when your taking point was about how most of the deaths in the US were confined to a single nursing home in Washington State?
