You might be on to something. Democrats have to keep people divided at all times by one means or another. Now they've moved on to "Blame The Rich".

How about this, we significantly reduce the size and reach of the government so it doesn't have to siphon as much money out of the hands of the people.

At the end of the day, every dime of money the government spends/wastes comes out of the pockets of the working class people. There is no getting around it. Any taxes on corporations or the wealthy are simply passed through to those who can't pass that cost on to anyone else in the form of higher prices on goods and services.

The only way to even things out is to reduce the size of government and sadly the leviathan has gotten so big and powerful now that there is no way to tame it.
The rich are richer Because of tax policy. They can remain rich with a different tax policy, maybe just not as rich.

one more reason for a flat tax

The rich are rich enough to be employed by the fellow rich who employ other rich to find ways to pay themselves without getting swamped by a tax on, The Rich.

There's a damn good reason why Envy is one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Pardon me for a second................when was Trickle Down ever actually tried? Certainly not in my lifetime.
Ronnie Ray-gun repackaged it sold it to the nation. In reality he basically cut taxes on the rich and services to the poor, while running up the nation's Visa bill on military spending.
