How far back do you place the traction Pad? Just wonder where I want the back ramp in conjunction with the rear fin.

Just a little joke :)

In all seriousness, I align the kick with the trailing edge of the rear fin, works fine for me. It makes no difference if I run a quad setup on the same board, works every time.

The way I look at it is, you can always move your foot forward on the pad, you can't move your foot beyond the pad though.

This makes the most sense to me. I just use the tailblock-only mini pads-just to keep me from stepping off the back and taking a roundtail to the gonads. Tail stop=no more board left indicator.

This is my reasoning as well, so my pads are always up against the leash plug. Are all the bros laughing at me and quietly calling me a kook without me knowing? :confused2:

I go near the plug on squash tails and a little further forward on round pins.
