Just grabbed a new flare. Rode it today with AM2s and it felt very tracky. What fins do you recommend for a thruster setup on the flare?

Thanks for the suggestions. Luckily I have F6s and JJF mediums. Will report back with results!

They’ve changed ever so slightly since then, no?

iirc the center is slightly smaller on that og set.
i heard jjf saying on an interview that he liked the old ones better not because there was a change in their templates, but because they were slightly sharper than actual ones.

Interesting. I no brainer them in good wave boards and have not disappointed.

I also liked the green stamps hexacomb set in the flare.

The template is the same, but the og has a little more cant and a slightly smaller trailer

Right on. I’ve tried a lot of Tim’s boards and with different fin combos. F6 has worked really well on boards like the Flare, Gx and Giggle Box. I’ve also had success with JJFs, Mayhems, and EA blackstix. But F6 is a pretty sure bet.
