I'm kinda having a hard time believing that this wasn't intended to escalate the situation over there... seeing as how we could use the many bombers stationed in Alaska or the many (i'm sure) submarines parked off the Korean penninsula, if it ever came to that. Just more posturing in this deadly game of poker.

Scary, scary stuff a-brewing. And nothing's gonna stop it. Never before have I more starkly understood how little a difference I can actually make in this country. How absolutely powerless I am or anyone else is to effect influence with our government.

Iraq destroyed more weapons today.

Bush ordered 60,000 more troops to the gulf today.

The bombers are headed over there to thoroughly **** off the koreans.

The news today told me that they found another missing girl's body.

Another fire raged through another nursing home.

It's too staggering to think about... so I've had to stop thinking about it.

I hope and I pray and I even sometimes beg... that good will prevail and the world hasn't begun a dark and dreary spiral into a period of great suffering....

I hope.

Thanks Groovn'!

I know, it's way outta control and scares me. At this moment I am thankful I don't have children that I have to protect or try to protect them from hearing the wars and rumors of wars scenario.

It's true what you just said groovn', - we have no control, no words we can say, nothing it seems we can do, can stop the wheels of motion that are spiraling outta control.

I don't know what to say. Except for I am going home and lighting a candle for peace and for love. I suggest we all say a little prayer in whatever you believe to be the higher power. Pray for peace.

I feel like crying. For our planet. For the lunatics running the government. For the power that reeks of $$.

God help us.

You know whats really trippy about all this stuff that's going on in the world, right now?

If we never watched TV, listened to the radio, or read the newspapers/magazines, you'd be hard pressed to know that any of this stuff was really happening. Sometimes, up to the minute information is not always a good thing.

In other words, if you lived in a cave or were going feral out in some truly remote surf location for the last year and half or so, you wouldn't have a clue what is about to go down in the next few weeks.

Sometimes I seriously think about doing it. Selling all my worldly posessions except a board and trunks, hoard the cash and just bail on the whole cyber-socio-economic rat race. I don't have any kids to worry about, although I do have a wife and a couple dogs. Would that be a cop out?

Those big black bombers are landing in the U.K every day now.The U.s is v.nearly ready for WAR. And they will begin whenever they are ready--imminent! Sod the U.N sod the millions of antiwar Euro's.I hope your all looking forward to a totally split world---Arabs and everyone else.I surf in Morocco a lot,a beautifull land of peace loving Muslims and reeling right point breaks.will that all end?.By the way its been Pumping solid for 13 days in Cornwall 4-6 foot every morning with 2 in the water at 8.30 every day.Bastard cold though. love&peace The Gent....
