These heights to me would make no difference until you got into 6'+ range. Remember shorter transition harder or faster you need to run out or go to knee slide before you slam. If you have room I would go 5' with plenty of transition and enough flat but I am 50. I had a 3' x 8' wide quarter pipe in backyard I got sketched on tore it down. Did not like fast transition preferred bowls at local parks.Should i build a 3', 3.5" or 4" miniramp?
We used the 3' plans at DIY Skates, but just made it 12' wide, for our ramp, which you've skated.you do it all yourself or use plans?
my goal is to have one in the backyard within the next year
