Never forget. local kid. Seems to have stepped it up as of late. Probably at the top of the food chain as far as the skater/surfer goes. Ripping in both aspects. Effortless style. His pops is no slouch in the water either.
Terrible skater here getting back into it now that my son is showing interest. All flat ground for me, but it's a ton of fun relearning old tricks.
Never could do regular flip tricks, but I'm relearning nollie flip and switch flip, nollie backside pop shuv, front and back 180s, front and back nollie 180s, half cabs, and ollying over little obstacles. For some reason the nollie and switch stuff always came easier to me that reg.
Used to have a decent flat rail game including front board, fake 180 board, nollie 180 boards. Basically anything board slide. Never really learned to grind cuz it was too scary.
Favorite skaters include Jim Greco, Erik Ellington, Heath Kirchart, Arto. Really stoked on the films Jim has been making over the last 10 years.

He actually lives right outside Ventura in Casitas Springs. His place is right on the hwy and you can see his ramps n stuff as you drive by.
I've had this old G&S deck in my garage for 25+ years. Last week I decided I was going to go down to G&S and slap on some trucks, wheels and tape. Eric Gordon told me it was actually a pretty rare original Stacy Peralta Warp Tail from when he used to ride for G&S, pre-Powell Peralta. It came out pretty sweet and should be fun for the pump track!

He has the sobered-up-drunkard lunacy going, so he is doing it in his skatepark attire: Black t-shirt, black hoodie and his favorite black skate park hat.
Only real prep seems to be swapping out the black jeans with some gym pants and running shoes instead of skate shoes. Somebody probably had to talk him out of going with his usual 51mm wheels, but still not a longboard suited for the journey.
Currently he is the desert, with an unfirm grasp on the water requirements of the human body.
