We were waiting in line once at the Griffith Observatory to look through the telescope. I was explaining to my daughter (about six or seven years old at the time) that we would be seeing Jupiter. She asked me what color Jupiter was. I said I didn't know but that it had stripes. Then she asked me "What color is Uranus?" The couple behind us in line starting cracking up.

ps Jupiter was cool. You could see all the moons around it.
