i'm gonna listen to a song,
1st heard it many yearz ago, when i was a kid, whom wanted to learn to surf...
i'll 'Q' it up perfectly for ya, if you too, just wanna listen, maybe reflect, ok?

i know of, online, of where an ol' photograph of me, rw, is,
i'm'a: "Waxin' Down My Surf~Board"!

so this~ie here, image, below,
of a young rw, age of just 15, in 1977,
it show'z me, in the top 1/2 half of my 1st ever wet~suit! kinda a bitchin' photo, just a memory, "
waxin' down my surfboard"! it is November, i'm in a used wettie, with a front zipper + beaver~tail too, thee rest of the suit, bein' as it was dive suit, well i'd already cut thee legz in half, as i'd had it since prev winter....
so to go + buy this wetsuit,
well i found it, for sale, in the back pages of an ooold West~Side L.A. newspaper,
called Thee Evening Outlook, in thee Bargain Box. i called the seller, arrange a meetin', far 'way from me home, too...
i rode my bicycle to Thee Venice Circle, locked it, where ol' The U.S. Post Office was,
caught a bus, rode up into Santa Monica, past Thee Pier, seen below:
well i got dropped off, walked allll thee way to Montana+Ocean,
met up with a stranger, no adult supervision, paid him, some dude $22.00 for my 1st wet~suit,
yow~za!
stocked!!!
thee surfin' board that i, age of 15 is seen waxin' 'bove,
is a 7'1"Zephyr pin~tail single, found in an alley in Venice when i got outta school from Mark Twain Jr. High, months earlier.
thee deck had serirus damage, so ah, i learnt to repair surfin' boadz under tutilege from Paciific West Surf~Shop
it'z owner David Isackson, his palz, my elders ~ Doug Irvine, Danny Sadler, + other ol' Venice loc'z,
too...
my Mom,
she who had bought my 1st surf~in board, a 6'3" Wind-n-Sea,
{well gottta watch me, a youngster, ride this 7'1' Jeff Ho~daddy shaped pin~tail, found in a garbage bin}
get sooooo pitted 1 day at El Porto's ol' 'Oil Pier', + then come out after~wardz of 3-4-5 secondz,
that this dude, a young rw, gotz me some praise, from Mom's,
she whom bought me my 1st surfin~board,
she who has been gone now,
deceased, since' '94...
i'm still stocked, though,
on them ol' mem'z!!!
