I think it has a pretty thick step like deck than he puts some concave on it to dial it back down some. Haven't seen one in person, but have heard others comment about the deck. That picture doesn't show it as much for some reason unless it got lost some with xtr.

I think he's not afraid to experiment. I see a lot of his old personal shapes around on the used market and in certain shops, and they're never the same thing twice. The one I have is a belly-channeled thruster fish in clark foam with glass on wood fins. lots going on LOL. and it surfs so smooth. He said it was a little too big for him, so worked perfect for me. I just wish he was a little bigger so I could try more of em!
