Thinking about getting a classic surf poster or just a poster of a wave for my office. Generally I work in the office alone but people occasionally walk through to access another part of the building (so, something tasteful i.e. no reef girls)

Just something to keep the stoke alive while I grind away!

Appreciate the recs

Ebay, find some 80s mags. Every issue came with a fold out poster of some guy on a dream wave.

Classic surf posters are great. Keep your eyes out. You never know what you may find. You might also be able to commission a local artist to do an original piece.

Lots of ex industry duu’s used to post stuff up like this on Craigslist, their whole garages looking like an ex storage container of stuff like this.

last time I went with a buddy scoring stuff like this was over 10yrs ago, however.

Yeah, it’s collectible now and hard to find. When I scored most of my stuff it was considered trash! Keep your eyes out though! I find surf memorabilia in some weird places, there are still deals to be had.

I'm from that era and watched Butch VanArtsdalen with Diffenderfer, Hynson, Weber, Bruce Brown, Paul Allen & Phil Edwards as we stood on the beach yelling our ass's off as Butch got the wave in the Endless Summer coming out of the tube and looked towards the beach sitting on his board with his feet on the nose, rubbing his hands together and smiling at us.

1999 Opening ceremonies for the Noosa Contest in Australia.
Greg Noll, Titus Kinimaka and myself. We were part of the California / Hawaii Greg Noll's Legends group.
The Aussie's were wonderful hosts!!
