Very powerful wave breaking on a lava rock shelf - highly localised as well.

Didn't you go on a trip there with Wardo and a few others?
We did make a magazine project there, but not with Chris Ward and Cory Lopez - they had very good waves and the much desired NE wind, we had ok swell and conditions, mostly NW wind.

The surly local surfers will scream in your face en español, tell you where you can and cannot surf and throw rocks - and there are a lot of rocks on this island.

Nice island though, the volcanic landscape in the south is quite spectacular - many sunburned Brits running around.gettyimages-897204132-170667a.jpg

C!

The rocks they learned to throw generations ago, wat way way back when the invaders came with sails, not planes. They are DEADLY accurate with theur aim too. So, in case you are ever on the receiving end,do not think they missed you because of bad aim, rather it's a "warning shot across the bow", next one goes straight to the temple.

Oh, and they throw underhand, like a softball pitcher, with full ritational wind up and everything.
