Genocidal totalitarians invade country, US bombs country = decent outcome

You are referring to Vietnam, a nation which defeated the United States. Like China, Vietnam's economy is rocking mostly because the US trades with them......and Germany and Japan are still ruled by dictators, and are still murdering and subjugating their neighbors.
Not only did that NOT happen, but America created democracies in those nations. We returned control of them and their subjugated neighbors to their citizens. We instituted the Marshal Plan and virtually went broke delivering food to Germans.
The United States is the only country I know of which has not simply subjugated its vanquished foes. The only exception which comes to mind is the Civil War and the rape of the South.
It's a freaking crime the hate-America cr@p being stuffed into children's heads these days.
