Which mid lengths of yours have had that gas pedal, and felt spritzy?
Custom local shaper (Millsy) 7'6" which has a nice double concave bottom. Run it as a twin. Sunova 8ball 8'er. Both are fast. The Millsy turns like it's on ball bearings. The Sunova is a speed machine in sucky waves.ad_3_1585706770958.jpg20200430_094003.jpg20200420_153121.jpg20200420_153036.jpg

This was today's surf report: 8/10. "Cracking waves today with 3- 5 ft waves and its coming in from the ENE - East direction so everywhere is getting some swell... clean and glassy all morning with light west breezes and a bit of NW now , but still so many great waves on offer...the lower tide saw smaller fast waves and as the tide came in the bigger peakier sets came into play... a very good morning of waves and still great now ...NW winds starting to increase so head to the open beachies , especially the ones that like a bit of north."
Rode the Sunova with the Twins and trailer and just waited for the larger set waves. Surfed it over the low to mid tide so it was pedal to the metal to make them. Had a couple of highline speed walls where the board free fell out of the top of the wave and drop down the face and I was able to set the rail straight into the face and keep driving down the line. Yesterday with the same size waves it was easier with the bonzer trailers to high line and keep the board locked in to make sections.
Anyway back to small wave longboards.
