Anyone have recommendations on San Diego area sports medicine (orthopedics) doctors?

I've just went through a second lumbar epidural for a disk herniation. I'm thinking it is helping a little, but I'm not sure yet. Anyways, before my current doc advices a disk fusion I'd like to talk to a doctor who actually understands my drive to be up and playing again (instead of one that says, "get this done and expect/settle for this percent of recovery.")

Fusion only if the epidurals don't work and the MRI suggests damage that is too extensive or unlikely to heal. If you have chronic pain you may have no other options regardless of your desire to be up on your feet pronto.
