I am in shock at the moment. My good friend Scott Anderson has taken his last wave to Paradise. RIP buddy you will be in our hearts always. Miss you Bro.
Reposted from @dennis_jarvis I’m saddened, 2021 isn’t going as I was told! Another loss of a great craftsman.

❤️
RIP Scott (Anderson- Aqua Tech) if your riding a “mid-length” before they became in style, Scott probably glassed it- or shaped it.

Rip In Paradise Scott Anderson

We shot a product video/commercial thing in their shop and used some of their guys as on-screen "talent" a while back. Great group of people.

The last board I picked up was a brand new APE edgeboard off Craigslist around Christmas. I’ll be thinking of him and his family when I take it out.

RIP

No not me, rather Scott Anderson of Anderson Surfboards in Venice.
Great guy I got to meet and a ton of mutual friends.
He'd been battling cancer for some time now.

-Scott Anderson, (Channel Islands Surfboards)
Any word on type of cancer? Could it have been from all of the chemicals in surfboard making? glassing?

Scott had been havin' battles with skin cancer for many years,
upper back shoulder area, nose, etc, no doubt allll those toxic chemicals did not help...
we sold sooo many of his boards over thee yearz at the old HW surfshop in Doggie~Town,
f**kin' dude knew how to shape!

here's his old website,
bitchin' to see him mowin' his foam:
