He shaped my first custom about 25 years ago. 6'3" thruster with red running along one side of the deck. If you lived around the Santa Monica/Venice area in the 90's there was a good chance you owned one of his boards.

We shot a product video/commercial thing in their shop and used some of their guys as on-screen "talent" a while back. Great group of people.

Scott had been havin' battles with skin cancer for many years,
upper back shoulder area, nose, etc, no doubt allll those toxic chemicals did not help...
we sold sooo many of his boards over thee yearz at the old HW surfshop in Doggie~Town,
f**kin' dude knew how to shape!
