Not sure what the scene is like lately, but you can always check the Surfline cam of the car line at the gate before going. Pretty funny that that is an actual thing.
Get there after 5am and there will be at least 30-40 cars ahead of you.
Get there at 7 and you’ll still get in. You should hookup with @Joshua2415 and dawn patrol lowers. No wait to get in.

Trails was my escape place when I lived in San Clemente. So many great low tide sessions there.
I might have to ask some directions to Trails... I'll go alone and will keep my mouth shut, I swear. Unless some erBBer care to join me when/if I go.
Trails is a bit sharky. I spotted one 30 feet from me and I paddled my @ss off to get to shore. Scary stuff!
