This shaper's challenge is my favourite STAB production. Makes me feel better about the boars I build for myself when I see the talented contestants make their bad shapes work. I've been making my 2022 build work with a slightly wider stance and just general tolerance for the way it doesn't feel drivey like my professionally made daily boar. Its working fairly well for its intended use - which is for the powerful open ocean beachbreak. I can live with it and even enjoy it for another 8 months. I also remind myself that it is so much more instructive this way than getting perfect professionally made boars.
