I had one made for my wife awhile back and I took it out once at a reef in baja cause it was second session and I was tired. Ended up getting a decent barrel on it and it was kind of fun given the waves

I like to call them wrongboarders. At my local spot, there are too many guys within 10 years of my age that have just given up actually surfing waves and just kind of pop up and go on these mid-length boards without any the style of classic longboarding or attempting any meaningful turns. Yes, you can catch waves easier than us on shortboards and no, I wouldn't want to trade boards with you.

Borrowed a buddys 7"0 Randy Cone and never gave it back. Board went great in all kinds of surf. Don't know what ever happened to it but I wish I still had it.

You would think high performance longboard is an oxymoron. But I saw this during the past summer. Lance Hookano, who made a career riding hp longboards has been coming out to Bowls a bunch. He’s punchy but has mellowed out somewhat.
He’s super punchy. Him and JBG ruined many peoples sessions.

I got some hilarious stories about him but I’ll refrain on a public forum
