I talked to Erik and Joel about this video. They were telling me that initially John bought the Red cameras because he’s into photography. The Red crew were so impressed with his videos that they eventually sponsored him.
The founder of Red was the initial owner of Oakley and has just started M Experiment sunglasses. Which is the reason John left Electric to endorse them.
