I need your support: I'm 6' 0" and torn between the P2 5'11 or P2 xl in 5'10". The P2 xl has 2 1/2 thickness which sounds like a lot. Does anyone have experience with the xl vs the standard version. What would be your recommendation - the shorter and thicker or larger and thinner version of this board?
Whats your weight?

I'd go 5'11 or even the 6' P2. No experience with the XL version.
I've had a few of them now. stock 6'1 has been the gold standard for me at 6'3x190.

I'm 5'10 185 lbs, and I ride the 5'11 P2XL which is 5'11 x 19.87 x 2.56. Feels great to me. If I got one custom I feel like I could go 1" longer and a hair narrower (than my XL) 6'0 x 19.75 x 2.56. I could probably ride a stock 6'0 if I dropped 10 lbs. Don't think I'd go stubbier than 5'10...I use mine as my chest to overhead waves shortboard.

I had the standard Pyzalien but I’d get an XL in XTR or another alt construction if I got another. Mainly since I surf in CA if I was in Hawaii or somewhere with stronger waves I’d do the standard.

Yeah I agree with the guys here. I am 6ft 175lb(now) and my favorite pyzalien (original) was a 5'11". Like it better than the stubbier 5'9". Both were 2 3/8 but felt way thicker (flat deck). The pyzalien 2 has more refined rails so 2 7/16 will be just fine and even 2 1/2 if you choose the XL. I would go stock 5'11" 100% (if you weight around 175lbs).

The pyzalien is such an amazing paddler I don’t think you’d need xl dims. I’m blown away by the range of this board. Just go standard in p/u.
